Wetsuit Size Calculator
Wetsuit sizing is not standardized — a "Medium" at O'Neill is a different cut than a "Medium" at Patagonia. This tool maps your actual measurements onto each brand's published chart and flags when you're between sizes.

Sizing tips
- 1
Measure over a thin t-shirt.
Skin measurements can be off because of your breathing posture. A snug t-shirt gives you a repeatable baseline.
- 2
Snug is correct. Tight is not.
A wetsuit should feel like a firm handshake everywhere. If you can't get full arms overhead without the chest pulling hard, size up.
- 3
The lower back is the tell.
Pooling fabric at the lower back means the suit is too long through the torso — that's where cold flush enters when you duck-dive or dive down.
- 4
Activity changes the rule.
Surfing suits should run snug (flushing water = cold paddling). Diving suits can run slightly roomier to allow for tank pads and base layers.
